With AI Builder’s Receipt Processing model, you can say goodbye to collecting receipts and manually entering the details for you expense reports. The receipt processing model is ready to use and is currently compatible with sales receipts from Australia, US, Canada, India and Great Britain.
All you need to do is take a photo of your receipt (or upload it) and run it through the AI model to extract information. It can recognise and store details about the sale, such as date, time, merchant, address, line items, tax and totals. You can use it to create an app for employees to submit expenses, and even trigger workflows- maybe send the details off to managers for approval.

You may need to use your Developer Plan environment and activate an AI Builder free trial first. To activate the AI Builder trial, just navigate to AI Builder in Power Apps using your Developer Plan environment. You should then see a prompt to start the trial.
Something to be aware of- your receipt should be JPEG, PNG or PDF format and file size smaller than 20MB.
